Was driving along Meadowlands Road and saw a speed camera. I noticed in advance and slowed down, but I don't know if they caught me.
I was doing about 75 in a 60 zone. My question though, is if they always flash when you speed past? I didn't see a flash. if you drove past it doing the speed limit, you should be fine.
They only get from 90degress of there car and some other angle. |

they only flash in low light
also if it was a van then it can only get you from behind, and if it was a 4x4 then only from in front. |

there was a speed camera van near myplace couple of months back... flashed some lad in a ute... he turned around and ramed the van back down the little ditch beside the road... funniest shit ive ever seen.

I love seeing speeders get flashed. But 6-8 weeks? How could you expect to get off if you only hear about it after that long? Someone else could have been driving and you'd never know.

I have been flashed by cameras day and night, trust me they are very bright and near impossible not to notice. The night time flashes are less bright but red in colour and still impossible not to notice, if you saw it and slowed down I would say u didnt get fined, you only get caught if u speed right past them like within 20m of them. Atleast thats how it is in perth we have multanova speed cameras not sure if brissys diferent

Hell I got flashed today on the ICB and I was going 80.. In an 80 zone! Better not get a fine or I'm disputing that shit to court. I only got 1 point.
And as for the flash, it flashes at all times of the day, regardless of whether it's 12pm or 12am. -------------------- |

the car i was in one night got flashed when we were racing some other car... but i didn't see any vans or fourbies
