Just to let everyone know this is the last one for 2009 and possibly the last one ever at Kalbar. We are still in talks with the Government and Council, but at this point, things aren’t looking good for Burnouts at Kalbar in 2010. Of course this could change depending on how much support we can generate from the Local and State members of Parliament. So come out to Kalbar on Sun the 1st Nov and show your support. And hopefully things might change for 2010.

GRRRRR You are fucking kidding right? pissed.gif pissed.gif pissed.gif tears.gif tears.gif tears.gif FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

The pigs have already almost ruined it by checking every car before arriving at the show grounds. WHY DOES THE LAW HAVE TO RUIN EVERYTHING??? I am sick of legal events being shut down because some faggot kid died in an unrelated road accident. Like last time the cops gave everyone a hard time out there because some young @#$! died in a completely unrelated incident on the roads a few days before kalbar. I am fucking inraged about this.

OK, rant over. This has gone to far now. I dont know any of the fasifern guys very well, but if any one is organizing a campaign or protest against this I want to offer my 100% support, please feel free to contact me and I will do all I can to help and might be able to get more guys involved from brisbane. I reckon we should get some save the skids at kalbar bumper stickers made up, and make signs to display on the day

well i'll be going up for a skid seeing i was one of the originals who started the whole thing. i also recon Mick Drahame should be the last person to do a skid on the track at the end of the day seeing he was the first person to drop a skid on the track all those years ago. i think he was 10 years old at the time so a fitting end if thats what turns out to be.

5pm is normally when we have Trophy Presentations, but being this could be the last one, it might be hard to predict a finish time with the amount of cars that are going to turn up.

Hi Tufsix,
Iwant to bring my ute out and skid in the burnout comp but i would also like to enter her in the show n shine, is that possible and how will that work for any of us who want to do both when it comes time to judge the cars if we are doing a burnout at the same time???

I still have trouble believeing this might be one of the last ever comps to be held at Kalbar, fingers crossed it isn't but lets take it out with a bang and with the best behaviour all across the board

If any one wants to enter in any of the Driving Events and the Show'n'Shine. They need to get scrutineered first (Scrutineering shed is behind the Clubhouse) and when their car has been scrutineered they need to tell the officials they want to enter in the Show’n’Shine. After scrutineering drive your vehicle to the Show Ring and you will be judged straight away.
You can leave your car there until your class / event is announced. (Go-To-Whoa or Burnouts)

The Show’n’Shine is being held in the Show Ring.
This area is for Show’n’Shine entrants ONLY.

Show’n’Shine entrants must be in place by 1:00pm.
The trophy presentation will follow shortly on the burnout pad.

Catch ya smokin’ em up

If anyone is entering in the Burnouts or Go-To-Whoa on Sunday, please read the Class Criteria and the Rules & Regulations at the beginning of this Topic. Particularly if you haven’t been for a few years. Some things have changed.
One of the changes is that muffler/s need to be fitted.
Please read these, so confusion or disappointment won’t happen on the day.
If any questions please call 5463 7076
