Call Ivan up. He'll probably quote you a price over the phone. They do it on a regular basis.

With the cost of a K-swap these days you may as well just buy a DC5R

It was a white EM1 with a K20 under the hood. Seriously fast car.

Oh don't get me wrong. A K-swapped civic is crazy fast. But you get the whole package in a Type R. And for people that don't really know much about how the engine works (which is generally the ones that come on here saying they're going to do it without actually knowing the costs or what's involved) it can be a headache if something starts to play up after the swap.

Here's Hipower Racing's credentials - http://www.hipowerracing.com/hpr/index.php...36&Itemid=1

Needs to be a Type-R B18C

If it's a B18C V-tir you're looking at I'd prefer the B16A, LSD is also highly recommended to get the power to the ground

from what Leighton told us, the car was stripped off and sold
there was a video of the entire build made at the time also but the film was lost, would've been nice to see, it outlined how to get a k20a into that generation of civic.

yes type r for the whole package, built to last, and easy to re-sell and insure (not cheap but nothing fun or sporty ever is), less of a headache overall, which is why dc2r's are still going for the mid 18k mark even examples with poor history and missing orginal parts, lol
