For several years now I've been heavily involved in "The Board Meeting" a local charity that raises money for severely disabled Coast kids. Our main fundraising event for the year is this Saturday, November 7.

After the surf comp we are holding an After-party, everyone will be heading over to the Kawana Surf Club !

Midday to 1pm: Live music (after trophy presos and auction so get your mates down there!). There will be burgers and cheap eats on sale. FOOTWEAR MUST BE WORN or you will not be allowed entry as it is a licensed premises. Thongs (for your feet!) are fine but you must have some form of footwear on.

1.20pm swimwear fashion parade. Girls and guys from the Surf Lifesavers Club parading Hive Swimwear

1.30pm surf memorabilia auction. http://www.theboardmeeting.org/AuctionList-133.aspx is the list so far. Heaps of great stuff for girls and girls, surfers and non-surfers.

3pm (ish): Auction finishes and more live music.

As a member of the committee I can promise you every cent raised goes directly to the beneficiaries who are hand-picked by us using very strict criteria. So if you have no plans for Saturday, come and support your locals!!

nothin wrong with hanging out with a few mates at a spot on a thursday nights. It's the sick @#$!s that scream and yell, and skid out in obvious places that are the faggots ruining it for everyone up there.

went for a drive a couple times up there this arvo. Saw 1 white r34 and then that green 34 with the SR in it. not much else.

This would have to be the worst area ever for anything car related ... i moved up here from Melbourne and the car scene is a joke up here, that includes GC and Bris! , You guys would die in the ass if you cruised around Melbourne on a friday/saturday night!

anyway, ive been out a few times at night aroud here and seen nothing, its like a ghost town... im not sure why you guys are so paranoid about the police...

a few sunday backs, we took WARTYM out and cruising thru the esplanade, there were people coming out of restaurants to see it... and i had no trouble from police or anything... its a LH torana 355 , tubbed, roll cage, etc etc... runs 10.10 on pump fuel no gas. Organise a cruise and ill come out , im always around in the xr6 t and never find anyone to play with...

Hey, I might go out tonight... want to try the Angry Angus burger from Hungry Jacks... Then might cruise around...

So if you see a guy get out of a soarer... at hungry jacks... and order and Angry Angus burger... at some point between 6-9... don't say hi because I will probly be all like "why the fuck has that guy been folowing me since I got out of my car and why are they so interested in what I'm ordering?" squint.gif

Also you will probly notice me as the slowest driving Soarer on the road because I don't want to loose any more points, since I found out that the reason I keep getting done for speeding is because my speedo is off. (I should probly get that fixed too)
