Sellers Description
We have enjoyed many years cruising in the Med but it is now time to pass our beloved Oceanic on to another generation to enjoy.
Our Oceanic MKIII was one of the last to be built in 1980 with sail number OC66.
I only have a few internal photos to share as we were not intending to sell but health issues mean we cannot continue to sail.
One of the benefits of purchasing this boat is that it comes with a guaranteed position in the boatyard at Port St Louis near Marseilles. It is currently Euro 1200 for annual storage which includes power and water. A great location to sail to anywhere in the Med. easy drive from UK.
This is a very comfortable live aboard and can be a very economical way of living in the South of France..
The boat has always been taken out of the water at the end of each season.
I am the second owner since new.
There are 2 double berths, 2 single berths and an L shaped lounge area.
Fitted with a Perkins 4108 50hp diesel inboard gives plenty of power to head into any weather while the Bukh 20hp in the other hull aids manoeuvrability when docking or anchoring.
The boat is fitted with stainless steel long range fuel tanks and stainless steel water tank.
The boat is equipped with pressurised hot and cold water and has a full standing headroom shower in the bathroom. Gas cooker and electric fridge.
There are 3 anchors with chain and rope moorings.
All sails are roller reeled.
There is an Avon tender, a Honda generator and the boat is equipped for mains power when ashore or berthed at a marina.
There is a plethora of tools and spares, electrical shore power leads,etc. that I will be leaving with the boat.
We are based in Australia but will be in the UK in April to June this year and can travel to Port St Louis to meet anyone who is serious about purchasing and is ready to buy.
